Business planning is in the air
Hey Everybody!!!! You are not going to believe this.
The problem with business planning is:
At our past bootcamps we got the opportunity to hear from people starting businesses and one thing we kept finding is that many of them did not have a business plan. They might have had a great idea, people to help, even someone to invest, but that business plan was not there.
And frankly (which is my name) a business plan is hard to figure out! There’s a lot of number crunching, market research, and it does not feed that creative side. But, how many businesses have we seen fail because they didn’t realize how expensive things were going to be, or how long it would take to make money?
What’s the solution?
So Amber and Eric (our daughter and her husband) decided they would take all the boring forms and information and teach it in a new and creative way! Amber and Mike (dad) are teaching the video class with a little help from the rest of the family!
They even got Dustin (brother) and Christian (brother) to help too! (Hey, what about mom? I guess I was gone that day) And because it’s online, you can take the class wherever you live, you don’t have to come to Redding.
Anyway, I am so proud that they have come out with these lessons on how to write your business plan. I hope you’ll take a look at this video that is a teaser for the course. You’ll get to see my amazing family in the videos and of course admire their amazing humor and brilliance. And then if you run into someone who is starting a business and you can say “I have just the website for you!”
Hope you enjoy, Amber tells me that classes are open for registration with a special discount until Monday. So if you are interested or know someone who might be forward them this post!
PS. Got word from Mike today. Praise the Lord! He has feeling from his waist down to his feet. The feet are not yet free from pain, but what a wonderful report from Germany. As I mentioned last week, the Franks are taking the summer off and Christian and I are going to Germany June 16 through the 30th, to check this place out. I’ll send a report and let you know what we find out. Stay tuned!
